These photoshop and photography textures may be useful as background for photo-portraits and in collage work.  Many are large files created in photoshop. If you haven't tried using large textures in your collage and photoshop work, I would urge you to give them a try. There are many things you can use a texture file for, from adding texture to an image, to reworking it into a new unique texture that no one else has. Photographer's looking portrait backgrounds can turn some of these into their own one-of-a-kind background with a little manipulation of their own.

Throughout this site you'll find links to free software (and some paid software) that you can use to try out different techniques - most of these software or editing programs will easily manipulate these texture files. So, go on - get a few and give them a try!
